Design that supports the occasion

Long tables, round tables and a standing reception create different conversations. Consider sightlines for speeches, the space required for service and the transition between dinner and entertainment. Décor should support the hosts and purpose, without making it difficult for guests to see, hear or move comfortably.

Food and production need the same timetable

The kitchen, service team and production team should work from an agreed running order. A speech in the middle of a course or a late transfer can disrupt the whole evening. We coordinate the dependencies, from guest arrival and seating to entertainment handovers and the final departure.

Outdoor dinners need a real alternative

Gardens and open-air settings can be compelling, but temperature, wind, power and access matter. Discuss the weather alternative before the design is finalised. Confirm sound restrictions, supplier setup times and dietary needs. The scope may include production and transport, but these are agreed for the event rather than automatically included in a dining booking.

Shaping the evening

Can a gala dinner form the final night of a corporate programme?

Yes. It can bring an incentive, conference or retreat to a close. Share the tone, any speeches or awards and guests’ departure plans. We can then coordinate venue, dining and entertainment around the wider schedule and avoid an unnecessarily late or rushed finish.
